Accessibility
Last updated: October 2026
Islam Global News is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, including those with disabilities or who use assistive technologies.
Our Approach
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as a target standard. We work to ensure that our content can be read and navigated using a keyboard, screen reader, or other assistive technology.
We do not claim full WCAG compliance at this time. We are an independent publication with a small team and we continue to improve accessibility as resources allow.
What We Do
We aim to provide the following accessibility features:
- Descriptive alt text on images
- Logical heading structure on all pages
- Keyboard-navigable menus and interactive elements
- Sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds
- Readable font sizes and line spacing
- Semantic HTML to support screen readers
Known Limitations
Some older articles and embedded third-party content (such as advertising) may not fully meet our accessibility standards. We are working to address these issues over time.
Feedback and Contact
If you experience difficulty accessing any part of this website, or if you have suggestions for improvement, please contact us. We take accessibility feedback seriously and will respond as promptly as we can.
