Our Commitment to Accuracy

Islam Global News is committed to publishing accurate, verified information. Every article published on our platform undergoes a multi-stage verification process before going live. We believe that accuracy is the foundation of trustworthy journalism.

Verification Standards

Before publishing any claim, our editorial team:

• Requires a minimum of two independent, credible sources for significant factual claims
• Cross-references information with official statements, government sources, and established news agencies
• Consults subject-matter experts for complex technical, scientific, or legal claims
• Reviews primary source documents, official records, and data where available
• Applies additional scrutiny to claims from social media, anonymous sources, or single-source reports

Fact-Check Articles

Our dedicated Fact Check section investigates viral claims, misinformation, and contested narratives circulating in the news cycle. Each fact-check article clearly states the claim being investigated, the evidence examined, and our verdict. Verdicts include: True, Mostly True, Misleading, Partly True, and False.

Corrections Policy

When a factual error is identified in a published article, we correct it promptly. The correction is noted clearly on the article, including what was changed and when. We do not silently alter published content. See our full Corrections Policy for details.

Developing Stories

For breaking and developing stories, we clearly label content as developing and update it as new verified information becomes available. We do not speculate beyond what sources have confirmed. When initial reports prove inaccurate, we update the article and note the correction.

Needs Verification Flag

Articles that are published but require additional source verification are internally flagged as needs verification. These articles remain visible to readers but are prioritised for editorial review. We do not suppress articles solely because they are under review — we correct them when errors are confirmed.
