Hamirpur: ADM Hears Public Grievances at Maudaha Resolution Day Amid Low Attendance
Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh, India: An Additional District Magistrate and a senior police officer heard public complaints during the Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas, or Public Grievance Redressal Day, held at the Maudaha Tehsil auditorium on Saturday.
Additional District Magistrate for Namami Gange, Vijay Singh, and Maudaha Circle Officer Rajkumar Pandey listened to grievances raised by residents during the monthly public hearing.
However, attendance at the event was reportedly lower than expected.
The lower turnout is being linked to the ongoing agricultural season. Prolonged rainfall this year delayed ploughing and sowing activities, leaving farmers busy catching up with essential farm work.
With agricultural activities now gathering pace, many farmers are reportedly occupied in their fields, which may have contributed to the reduced number of people attending the grievance redressal meeting.
The Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas programme provides a platform for residents to raise local issues and seek assistance from district and police officials.
